NIMS NOW International
NIMS NOW International is an English-language newsletter published by the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) since July 2003, exclusively for international readers. It has provided extensive coverage of NIMS’ latest research activities, management policies, progress in international collaborations, visits by world-renowned guests, outstanding researchers and staff members, events, and more—offering valuable insight into both NIMS' current initiatives and global trends in materials science.
Starting in July 2025, NIMS NOW International will transition to a web format, and the printed edition will be discontinued. This change marks a new chapter in our efforts to deliver timely, flexible, and accessible content to our global audience.
Current and past issues will continue to be available online, and we aim to remain a trusted source of information about NIMS and the evolving world of materials science.
